Fees & Deposits

Security Deposit: $150

Special Events Deposit: $1000
(applicable to events larger than 50 people and/or serving alcohol)

Cleaning Fee: $150-$300
Renters can choose to pay for post-event cleaning or they can self-clean. However, if food is served, the cleaning fee is mandatory. (See requirements for OWSCC self-cleaning below.)

• Receipt of the security deposit confirms your reservation. If you cancel, this check will not be refunded. (See cancellation policy below.)

• The rental fees and special events deposit are due 45 days prior to your event. ​Both deposits are returned after your rental as long as you honor your reservation and there are no damages.

• Rentals include the use of OWSCC tables & chairs. (We own 14 sixty-inch round tables, 2 seventy-inch rounds, 4 five-foot rectangular tables, 4 six-foot and 1 eight-foot, plus 95 chairs.) 

Self-Cleaning Requirements: Renters who do not pre-arrange for cleaning service must restore the facility to the following condition. If these expectations are not met, OWSCC will deduct cleaning service fees from the renter's deposit. Please make plans with the OWSCC manager to visit the facility before your event.

Cleaning Guidelines:

• Chairs Wiped

• Chairs & Tables Put Away

• Dispose of Garbage & Recycling Off-Site

• Floors Swept & Mopped

• Bathroom Tidy – toilet seats wiped

• Projection Screen Up

• Windows Closed & Locked

• Doors Locked and Key Returned

• (Supplies are in the janitor’s closet by the bathrooms)

All fees and deposits payable to Old Wilson Schoolhouse Community Center, OWSCC, P.O. Box 1515, Wilson, WY 83014. Please contact us to pay by credit card, Zelle or Venmo.

Permission to use the Old Wilson Schoolhouse Community Center is not an endorsement of an individual's or group's beliefs or purposes by OWSCC, its board of directors, staff, the landlord (Teton County, Wyoming) or any affiliate of the organization.

Cancellation Policy-OWSCC will refund 100% of the lease amount and special events deposit to the lessee if cancelled 60 days prior to the event. The security deposit will not be refunded. If cancelled within 60 days of the event, OWSCC will retain the security deposit plus 25% of the special event deposits and 25% of the lease amount. All reservations made within 30 days are subject to a 25% cancellation fee. 

The Old Wilson Schoolhouse Community Center reserves the right to consider yearly rate increases on all rentals.
